Overseed

This past week we were able to get out the seed at Yaupon. Fairways, par 3 tees , collars, approaches, and greens all seeded. Last night's big rains(@2") was Not good timing- with the greens seed only down since Tuesday we did experience some washing. On Monday, we are going to apply some more seed to the greens especially the ones that appeared to have washed the most. We are still playing on opening Friday 11/1 to cart path only. We will remain Cart Path Only until the seed gets established. As for Live Oak the new fairways are Not being overseeded. The only seeding over at Live Oak will be the DR tee, Par 3 tees, 14 blue tee, and 14 approach. The crew is also going to freshing up the fescue areas we established last year.
