Ice Storm 2023.

 As many of you are aware from your own yards - the ice really damaged the trees. We have limbs down and hung in the trees on nearly every tree on the property.  We have a contractor out on the course hauling limbs to specific locations so at a later date we can get chipper truck out to haul them off.  Our guys are going around cutting limbs into manageable pieces and piling them up.  We ask you and your neighbors to not drag limbs onto the golf course- the city started this week with curb side pickup for residents so just drag to your front curb. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this. Here are few pics from around the course.

Greens Covers

 Thanks to all that help with the first greens covering with our new Proper greens covers. Now they are covered we wait…..   Covers will start to be removed on Monday and should reopen for play Tuesday. Next week we are back to warmer weather. Here are a couple of pictures of the process.

Yaupon cart paths

 We were able to get some cart paths repaired at Yaupon this week. Got around 9 green, spot on 10 fwy, the dip going to 12 blue tee, some around 12 green, and 13 tee area.  They will still get the spot going up to 2 green where the tree fell over in the coming days.  Here are a couple of pictures.
