Cart Path repair.

We have started repairing cart paths. We will work on areas as needed the next month or so. Today we fixed the area by #6 green at Yaupon. This repair will be blocked off for a couple of days so please keep your eyes open for the cones. Thank you

Frost delay.

This morning is one of our coldest of the season(23 degrees). We will have a Delay until at least 10:00 this morning.

The Lakeway Golf Course Maintenance team wants to wish everyone a Happy Holidays!!!

Remember all courses are closed Christmas Day but be sure to come out later this week-- the weather looks Great.

Weekend rains

The well needed weekend rains left both courses very wet. We will be cart path only for the day. We will also begin cleanup of the cart paths and bunkers. With this weekends Member/Member we will focus on cleanup and try mowing when we can--- there is more rain expected this week. 

Over seeding Yaupon will begin next Monday. So the play next week will be at Live Oak. 

Hope everyone enjoys the Member/Member this weekend with the weather looking great for the event.

Aerification

Live oak we be closed for aerification on Monday and Tuesday( 9/9-9/10) this is the final aerification for the year. We will also be doing a heavy vertical mowing along side of the core aerification. The next big maintenance project will be overseeding Yaupon on 10/21-11/1.

Rainfall

We will start the day off with Cart Path Only. Well needed July rainfall totaled 2.80" so far with more chances the next couple of days. We will also start working on repairing the bunker washes due to the heavy rainfall yesterday. Lets hope for more rare July rainfall in the coming days. 

Aerification at Yaupon

Starting on Monday 6/10 we will start our aerification of Yaupon. We will be aerifying greens, tees, and fairwaysduring the week. We will reopen on Friday 6/14. Live oak will be open Monday for member play. We are also planning on patching some of the thin areas on Yaupon greens to help with the recovery process during our transition from over seeding. Thank you for cooperation and come out and enjoy Live Oak. It has recovered very well for its aerification a few weeks ago. Also the new pond liner on #18 should be ready to fill up sometime this coming week.
